Albany HR offers retained HR support to a Trust adapting to new challenges in Scotland.
Introduction
Albany HR partnered with a local Trust to provide retained HR support on an on-going basis, enabling them to develop their small but growing team. In 2023, the Trust underwent significant transformation, appointing new leadership and modernising projects to better serve the diverse needs of the community. These changes presented opportunities for growth but also required HR assistance to support the evolving workforce.
With a new vision and core objectives extending to 2045, the Trust sought our expertise to align their People offering with best practices. This case study outlines our approach, activities, and the positive impact of our services on employees, Directors, and the Trust as a whole.
Background
Our client, a long-standing organisation with over twelve years of service, was undergoing a significant change. With new leadership in place, there was an opportunity to implement HR best practices and create a more engaged and productive workforce. By aligning HR strategies with the Trust’s evolving vision and core objectives, we aimed to support the organisation in achieving its goals and making a lasting impact on the community.
Our remit
We initiated our support by providing the directors with essential tools, including comprehensive contract templates and up-to-date policies tailored to the organisation’s needs. We also assisted with a complex Adoption Leave request and provided guidance on effective performance management strategies.
Since then, we have been readily available to address a wide range of HR inquiries, from managing garden leave and right-to-work compliance to supporting student apprenticeships.
Outcomes and Impact
By providing comprehensive HR support, we empowered the Trust to create a positive and productive work environment. We assisted in streamlining HR processes, leading to increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ultimately, our support contributed to the Trust’s ability to attract and retain top talent, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Conclusion
Albany HR successfully delivered a range of HR services to the Trust. Our tailored approach and expertise enabled the new Directors to manage organisational change, optimise HR processes, and enhance employee satisfaction. Through our partnership, the Trust is well-positioned to achieve its long-term vision and continue to make a positive impact on the community.
