Achieving B Corp status just in time for the holidays is a momentous milestone for the firm and Director Kathleen McAdams, who founded Albany HR eight years ago. The certification, verified by the non-profit B Lab, demonstrates that Albany HR meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability, alongside a legal commitment to goals beyond mere shareholder value.
The certification process is rigorous, requiring companies to provide evidence on performance across five key impact areas; governance, workers, community, the environment, and customers and legally embed their commitment to purpose in their company articles.

The firm’s two newest senior consultants, Monique Equi and Susan Friel, played an integral part in securing the accreditation.
